As part of the Willoughby Spring Festival, the Rotary Club of Northbridge is presenting a one-day Garden Fair, with the theme of "Living with Nature", to help members of the community work with, not against nature in all their gardening activities, especially how to manage "sustainability" in these times of water scarcity. Willoughby Council has donated $1500 in prizes! See link below.
Gates open 10:00am to 4:30pm.
Fair Entry fee is $4 for adults, children free.
There is free parking in Willoughby Leisure Centre parking areas.
The fair is to be opened by
a "well known celebrity"
The Fair includes:
- ABC Radio 702's Simon Marnie with an Outside Broadcast of his Sunday morning program at the Fair
- An open Q & A session with Helen Young, author of the “Twig” column in “The Australian” newspaper and a frequent panellist on ABC 702’s Saturday morning gardening show and Debbie McDonald, horticultural editor of Gardening Australia magazine
- Horticultural stalls - plants, seedlings and gardening equipment
- Fruit and Produce Displays
- Prizes to be won
- Water Sustainability Systems
